Time Freak

Sophie Turner

Synopsis: A young boy invents a time travel machines to find a way to win back his girl friend.

Review: A “genius” boy (Asa Butterfield ) creates a time travel machine to prevent a break up between his girlfriend Debbie ( Sophie Turner ) and himself. Somehow this young man creates a device that would change the entire human race but keeps it to himself for his own selfish gain. Like many other time travel stories, he goes back in time over and over again to achieve his goal. As he decides to go back in time he brings his best friend along Evan ( Skyler Gisondo ). The two of them go on the journey together and try to create new lives for themselves.

Debbie

Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner seems really board in this film. There was a time when she played in certain movies when she seemed like she did not want to be on set. Lucky for us her acting got way better in later movies.

Stillman

Asa Butterfield

The film focuses on the selfishness of this main protagonist. He plays with other people’s lives as though they are his toys and their opinions don’t matter. This character is more like the villain rather than a young man we should be rooting for. Either way the actor Asa Butterfield does not hold your attention enough for you to want to keep watching this film. Obviously if you’re a fan of Sophie Turner, then she is the only reason to watch this movie.

Debbie

The cinematography is just average, nothing great. The lighting, backgrounds, set dressing, and wardrobe are just OK. This movie will more than likely not resonate with everyone. It’s a form of comedy that’s just too niche. Some people may find the characters irritating and not funny. This movie is just not that funny or entertaining. This film is passable at best, nothing special. Skip this one.
